Human Baseline is independent and free to take. Running it costs money: hosting, a paid panel of participants balanced by age, education and background to correct the skew of volunteer data, and model access to test AI on the same items.
01 · Donate
Individual donations
One-off or monthly, any amount. Donations first pay for hosting, then for the balanced paid panel.
02 · Sponsor
Sponsorship for organisations
- Founding sponsor. Funds the project's first year: hosting, the paid calibration sample, and same-item AI runs. Named on the homepage and in every report.
- Research sponsor. Funds a module or a study, such as the long test or a demographic calibration sample. Named on that module's pages and in its report.
- Compute / API-credit sponsor. Model access for same-item AI runs. Named next to the results it made possible.

Independence policy
- Sponsors never see held-out items, early or otherwise.
- Sponsors have no say in methods, results or what we publish.
- Every sponsor is listed publicly on this page.
- When an AI lab sponsors us, that is disclosed next to its own models’ results.
